What is remote fitness coaching?
Remote fitness coaching is like a personal trainer in your pocket - although I’d like to think our team is a bit more credentialed. Members receive weekly fitness programming, nutrition and lifestyle coaching, monthly 1:1 consultations and more via mediums like CoachRx and Zoom for deliverables, accountability, progress mapping, tracking and goal achievement.
Do you work with weight loss?
Many of our clients have weight loss goals, while others may have more performance based intentions. With nutrition practices, resistance training, and necessary lifestyle adjustments like quality sleep, adequate hydration, stress management and more, weight loss is just scratching the surface of the outcomes that our clients experience.
What degrees & certs does your team have?
Our team is highly degreed and certified with over a combined 20 years in the wellness industry. Melissa is a Certified Health Education Specialist with her Master’s in Health Promotion, and Precision Nutrition Coaching certification along with other women’s health focus’s as well. Michael is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weightlifting Coach, Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and also holds his Precision Nutrition Coaching certification.
What exactly is holistic health?
Holistic health is the epitome of the term “more than fitness”. Ultimately all this means is that there is so much more to fitness than simply exercise selection and the four walls of the gym. But more than fitness is a comprehensive representation of an individual’s total health, including but not limited to physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, socio-economic, environmental, medical and more.
I’m new to fitness, can this be for me?
Out methodology will meet you wherever you are at on your fitness journey. We believe that fitness varies by the degree, but not by the kind. This means that we all have similar needs for fitness (bending, squatting, throwing, etc), but the degree of intensity varies (i.e, squatting on the toilet vs a heavy back squat in competition). We will meet you where you are at and help you progress to where you want to be.
Can I stop taking my medications?
While we are not Doctor’s, our team is studied, and well versed in the best practices and cutting edge modalities that lead to optimal health. We also recommend consulting with a medical professional, but our clients have seen tangible progress that has resulted in the prevention of medication intervention, or allowed for individuals to get off of medications all together.
